Drakelow - Burton upon Trent 

Working as part of Vital Energi we successfully designed and built a Waste to energy facility capable of producing 18MWe of power by taking waste as fuel and burning to produce steam that was then converted into energy.  

This was a particularly challenging project because there were so many disciplines on site which had to be co-ordinated so that everything stayed on track, within budget and plan, which the managers achieved with the help of all the team.  

This was my first time seeing such a big project grow from ground up, which felt very satisfying when it was completed.
